Brazos Valley Imagination Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 39-3748903). More information about our tax status is available here. We rely on our generous donors to cover the cost of sending books to children here locally ($31.20 per year per child).

The average retail cost of Imagination Library titles is about $14.30 per book. However, by purchasing in volume, the Imagination Library is able to acquire and mail customized titles for about $2.60 per child per month.

The Dollywood Foundation covers program overhead by providing the custom-built Book Order System (BOS) and coordinating the book selection, procurement, and fulfillment processes. Local Program Partners are only required to cover the at-cost book and mailing expenses for children registered in their coverage area. Brazos Valley Imagination Library is the Local Program Partner for Brazos & Robertson counties and facilitates the cost of providing books for children of the Brazos Valley at no cost to local children and families.
