How it Works
Brazos Valley Imagination Library is the local community partner for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. BVIL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on enrolling children in Brazos County and Robertson County, Texas in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and receiving donations to support the program locally.

Parents enroll their children age 0 to 4 in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Currently, enrollment is not open due to limited funding. Help us bring books to the children of the Brazos Valley with your financial support.

Every month until their 5th birthday, the child receives an age-appropriate book in the mail addressed to them. Books are 100% free to the family!

Children enrolled in Dolly’s Imagination Library grow up in a home full of books. Books help baby learn shapes, colors, letters and numbers. Older kids get rhyming books and more complex stories. Imagination Library books are selected to help children be ready for kindergarten.
